Maldon CC: Maldon and District Cycling Club caters for cyclists of all abilities, ages and cycling interests, offering activities in most branches of cycling.

Becontree Wheelers: Club catering for all disciplines, especially time-trialling. Recruiting from London and South West Essex.
Chelmer CC (Chelmsford): A Chelmsford based all-round club, offering family, social and touring rides, plus racing, training and coaching. Chelmer CC was the top non-sponsored club in the Counties Cycling Festival in 2006 and has more than 180 members. It is Essex Club SX and British Cycling Go Ride accredited.

Southend Wheelers: Road racing, time trialling, track and Audax/randonee events. A social ride takes place on most Sundays (Oct - March) from outside Dorothy Perkins in Rayleigh High Street at 9AM. Also there is a Saturday morning ride, starting from the junction of Watery lane and Hullbridge Road in Hullbridge at 10AM. Please contact the club mail@southendwheelers.org to confirm dates.
